Default LK by Arutha was established in the midst of Sri Lanka’s worst economic crisis in its independent history. The crisis was triggered by the country’s first ever sovereign default in 2022.
With the economic crisis, came a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation which is where Default LK comes in. Our mission is to ensure that Sri Lankans have a full and accurate picture of the crisis and empower the population with the knowledge to prevent such crises in the future.
